Sela Wind Gongs are artistic sound instruments, traditionally handcrafted in China from a special bronze alloy. They are available in various sizes from 20 to 48 inches. As the diameter increases, the sound deepens and gains volume. Included are a high-quality mallet with a beech handle and velvet-covered plastic head, as well as a practical zippered carrying case.

The Sela Wind Gong Lotus has a nearly flat shape, as its outer edge is not curved backward. Various surface treatments give it its characteristic appearance, with a fascinating, shimmering, matte gold finish. A special highlight is the artfully crafted lotus motif on the outer surface of the gong. The lotus flower, also known as the "Flower of Life," symbolizes purity of heart, creativity, wisdom, and enlightenment.

Gongs have a long tradition in many cultures and produce soothing, long-lasting, ethereal sounds. The way they are struck—with varying intensity, in different locations, and with different mallets—influences the sound and allows for a wide range of uses.
